World’s football governing body (FIFA) has said the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) faces sanction if Amaju Pinnick is removed as president.
The Nigeria Police Force on Monday sealed off the office of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja.
This move comes after the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF board were asked to vacate the office following the judgement of a Jos High Court, which on Friday nullified the 2014 election that brought them into power. The court subsequently ordered that Chris Giwa assume office.

Reports say the closing down of the Glass House is a directive from the federal government pending Giwa’s resumption.
Giwa and his team had said they would occupy and take over the NFF offices to start work on Monday.

Pinnick said they will appeal the court ruling, while also applying for a stay of execution.
Third-party inference could lead to the world football governing banning the country as it enters another round of leadership tussle which could put their 2018 World Cup qualification hopes in jeopardy.
